On the whole it was a decent start to Tuesday with plenty of sunny spells, however, it didn't take long for cloud to thicken up in places. The rest of today is likely to see more fair-weather cloud bubbling up as the day progresses.
It may be a little breezy around the northwest coast but elsewhere the wind will be light enough to let the sunshine feel nice and warm. Expect highs of 21C for many parts of east Wales.
Overnight we'll see more cloud drifting in from the west, elsewhere it's another night of clear spells. Generally temperatures will be 12-14C, but in rural districts they could fall to 9C.
Wednesday sees an area of low pressure drifting across the north west of the UK. This brings cloud and some patchy showery rain. This could affect most parts of Wales, almost everywhere could see some rain, but some places may escape it.
The best chance of brighter but still showery weather is the south eastern corner of Wales. Highs of 20C, feeling cooler in the outbreaks of rain and stronger breeze.
