A speed camera in Newport has notched up more than £1.4m in speeding fines in the last three years.
The fixed camera on the A4042 Kingsway in the city centre has caught 23,582 motorists driving too fast in a 30mph zone.
It is the highest-grossing speed camera in Wales, and the second highest in the UK - behind a camera on the M60 near Newport.
The figures have come from a Freedom of Information request.
