A man and child have died following a crash near Chepstow yesterday afternoon.
The collision involving a black Vauxhall Corsa and blue saloon happened at around 4.40pm on the A466 Wye Valley Link Road.
A man from the Chepstow area who was driving the saloon and an 11-year-old boy travelling in the Corsa have both since died from their injuries. Two women who were in the Corsa suffered minor injuries and are still in hospital.
Gwent Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them and are particularly keen to speak to a cyclist travelling towards Chepstow at the time of the collision.
