David Parker was speaking at a memorial service for Kim Buckley, her daughter Kayleigh and six-month-old granddaughter Kimberley, who died when their home was set alight last September.
The house has since been demolished - but today relatives of the Buckley family returned to plant trees on the site in memory of those they lost.
