A mother who feared she had just months to live has told ITV News that it prompted her to take her young family on the holiday of a lifetime.

Jo Teague from Llantwit Major was diagnosed with Vascular Ehlers-Danlos - an incurable genetic disease that killed her brother.

Despite the prognosis, Jo and her husband say they wanted to make the most of their time with their young family, and so embarked on a 6 month road-trip around Europe.

Jo has since written a book about her experiences in coming to terms with the disease.

We'll have their full story in our news bulletin at 17:40 this evening on ITV Cymru Wales.
