For many parts of the country it was a rather grey start to the day. It was a little misty in places too with a few bits of showery rain around too.
There are also a few brighter breaks too and these will continue in to the afternoon.
In spite of the lack of sunshine it's still surprisingly mild with highs ranging from 16-19C.
Overnight it will be mainly cloudy with a few showers holding on. Another mild night with lows remaining in double figures.
Friday should be a slightly brighter affair with more in the way of sunny spells on offer, but there will still be plenty of cloud floating around. By the afternoon it will be pleasant with highs of 20C, 68F. We should lose the drizzle and showers too so a dry end to the week.
