A turbulent week for Cardiff City with speculation over the future of manager Malky Mackay has ended with a resounding defeat at Chelsea this afternoon.
Jordon Mutch did give the Bluebirds the lead after ten minutes but two goals from Eden Hazard and strikes by Samuel Eto'o and Oscar gave the home side the win.
Meanwhile Swansea overcame bottom club Sunderland 4-0 at the Liberty Stadium.
Swansea scorers were Jonathan De Guzmán, Wilfried Bony and Chico Flores after an own goal from Sunderland's Phillip Bardsley.
In League Two Newport beat York City 3-0 and there was a 2-0 win for Wrexham at home to Woking in the Conference.
