There's some big clumps of cloud floating around Wales today but some decent bright and sunny spells in between. A few showers could be set off later but for many it will be dry. Temperature continue to be on the mild side with highs of 14-16C.
Overnight the next spell of heavy rain pushes in from the southwest. It will take its time to reach the likes of Flintshire and Wrexham. A mild and breezy night with lows of 12C.
Friday morning sees the heaviest of the rain lingering until after breakfast for the northeastern corner of Wales, elsewhere there will be plenty of cloud with outbreaks of light rain and showers continuing.
Into the afternoon and the cloud should break for many, however, the showers are likely to continue and in a few cases turn heavy and thundery. The brisk breeze should help to push these showers through and the southerly direction keep the temperatures on the mild side with highs of 16-17C.
