More rain, more showers

Rain has pushed up across Wales overnight and will remain in place for much of the day with more rain joining it during the afternoon, some heavy pulses may develop across the central belt of Wales for a time. Temperatures are about right for the time of year, with variable winds around the country.

Overnight rain clears away to the east, with clear spells to the north and west. A chilly night with lows of 5C.

Saturday starts with the next band of rain arriving in the west. Best chance of some sunshine further east. During the day the rain moves across the country becoming more showery as it does. Expect waves of showers during the afternoon, some of which will be heavy.

It will be a blustery afternoon with a risk of some coastal gales. The wind will keep the cloud chopped up so some sunny spells will be around too. Highs of 10-13C, feeling rather cool in the breeze.
