Power restored to homes in south and west Wales after storm

Streets and roads across Wales have being cleaned up after winds battered parts of the country last night.

Speeds of over 88 miles per hour were recorded.

At one point, 25,000 homes were without power.

Bad weather affects thousands

High winds and heavy rain have caused damage and travel disruption to much of south and west Wales this weekend. Up to 25,000 homes were without power from Chepstow right across to Pembrokeshire.
