Adoption stigma causes numbers to fall

Adoption charities are concerned people aren't adopting because of misconceptions about the process.

The latest study from The British Association of Adoption and Fostering (BAAF) shows that 24% of people over of the age of 40 think that are too old to adopt.

The study also shows that people thought their weight and financial incomes would have an effect on being able to adopt a child.

National Adoption Week, starting on Monday, is highlighting all the misconceptions of the process.
