The headteacher of Cebu International School in the Philippines, originally from Bridgend, is coordinating his own typhoon relief effort. Pupils at the school have been busy packing aid parcels to be sent north of Cebu City to those who've yet to receive aid after typhoon Haiyan hit.

The heaviest bursts are expected in the south and east, with some western areas either remaining dry or becoming dry by dawn.
Many places will start dry, but rain in the southeast will spread to most for a time overnight.
