This Evening and Tonight:

Turning wet and very windy from the west with outbreaks of rain, which will be heavy at times. This spell of rain will clear to showers by morning. Severe gales are expected on hills and coasts.

Minimum temperature will be 2 degrees celsius (36 deg F).


Further blustery showers are expected with gales, severe on coasts, lasting for much of the day. Some sunny spells are possible, especially during the afternoon.

Maximum temperature will be10 degrees celsius (50 deg F).

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Breezy with scattered showers during the weekend, some showers heavy, and wintry over hills. Brighter for a time on Sunday before wet and windy weather returns overnight into Monday.
