Pupils have returned to Cwmcarn High School in Caerphilly - more than 14 months after it was shut due to fears over the risk of asbestos.
They have been taught in Ebbw Vale while their school was made safe. And, as Tom Sheldrick reports, today's return means the end of a tough period of upheaval for teachers, parents and pupils.
