The body of a man recovered from the River Usk in Newport on Thursday has been formally identified as 30-year-old Ben Caplan.
Mr Caplan, who worked for the South Wales Argus, had been missing since Sunday 8th December. Police had received reports of someone entering the river at Caerleon Bridge on the night he disappeared.
