Swansea City historian Peter Stead has told ITV News he is "not at all surprised" at Laudrup's departure.
"The last few performances have been awful - especially the away performances," he said.
"But over and above that, you could sense in the games that [Laudrup] had lost the club. He'd lost the players, he'd lost the crowd."
