Snow, gales and rain on the way

The Met Office has issued warnings for snow, gales and rain over the next four days.

Snow will affect the North and forecasters say it could bring travel disruption with up to 10cm likely on altitudes above 300m.

Meanwhile the South will be hit by gales and heavy rain. The latter will continue into Friday.

There are two flood warnings and seventeen alerts in force.
