Williams out of Six Nations with shoulder injury

Wales centre Scott Williams has been released from the Six Nations squad after suffering an injury in the game against Ireland.

Williams left the field 17 minutes into Saturday's game at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin after coming off worst tackling Brian O'Driscoll. The WRU says Williams has injured his right shoulder and will need surgical intervention.


Wales take a drubbing from Ireland in Dublin

Wales lost their second 2014 Six Nations game in Dublin against the Irish. Leigh Halfpenny was the only Welshman to get points on the board. The game ended Ireland 26-3 Wales.
