Appeal after Ysbyty Gwynedd copper theft

Police are appealing for information after thieves broke into an electricity sub-station in the grounds of Ysbyty Gwynedd, stealing copper and causing a "significant" amount of damage.

On 26th February Scottish Power staff conducting a routine visit to the site at Ysbyty Gwynedd discovered the theft and damage which is likely to have occurred sometime during the previous seven days.

An amount of copper wiring has been taken with the thieves likely to have been here some time with the use of a vehicle probable too.
