Monmouth is one of the top four places to live in the UK, according to a new list compiled by the Sunday Times.
The Monmouthshire town is described as having "a charm of its own," with good transport links and independent schools with reasonable fees and good exam results.
The list includes 11 Welsh towns:
Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan,
Brecon, Hawarden, Monmouth, Rhossili, Tenby and Whitchurch, are appearing in the list for the first time.
The 101 towns on the list were selected for offering "the best quality of life to the widest number of people, and combining desirable features such as a positive community spirit, good local shops and services and attractive outdoor spaces."
