A woman in her thirties was rescued from the water near the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff last night.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the River Taff near Wood Street, just after 11.30pm.
Fire and rescue crews from Cardiff and Ely were called, along with specialist rescue boats from Penarth and Barry.
After a search of the water the 33-year-old was found and recovered.
She was later taken to the University Hospital of Wales.
