Warm and sunny spells but increasingly cloudy later

Cloud will steadily increase during the afternoon, especially across northwestern Wales, it should stay dry. It will also be feeling warm, with the best of the sunshine in the southeast. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Low cloud and outbreaks of rain will develop over some western coasts and upslopes. Clearer spells elsewhere, bringing a local grass frost, and the risk of mist or fog patches. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Early mist and fog will clear on Thursday. Then dry with clouds breaking to bring warm sunny spells. These most prolonged along the south coast, but with a cooling sea breeze. Maximum temperature 19 °C.
