A grandmother from Swansea has waited over two years for surgery on two hernias in her stomach. 66-year-old Margaret John's operation has been cancelled twice.
Mrs John has to use a wheelchair most of the time and says the hernias make everyday tasks 'an ordeal', making sitting down and sleeping very uncomfortable.
Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board has apologised for the delays and says it is trying to arrange another date for surgery as quickly as possible.
