The Royal College of Nursing will debate the issue of HIV awareness on the first day of it's annual Congress in Liverpool tomorrow.
It's calling for more support to help a new generation of older people living with the condition.
The attention and focus may have shifted from HIV in the 1980s, but the condition is still very real for those who have been diagnosed and they need to be supported, clinically, emotionally and financially.
