Wrexham man given 23-year jail term for pub murder

Francesco John Prevete has been sentenced to at least 23 years in prison for the murder of Craig Maddocks in the toilets of a pub in Wrexham in June 2013.

Pub killer given 23-year jail term for 'ferocious' attack

A man who murdered an amateur boxer in a Wrexham pub last June will serve a minimum of 23 years behind bars.

Former engineer Francesco Prevete stabbed Craig Maddocks 52 times in an attack described as 'brutal and ferocious'.

This week a jury took just over three and a half hours to find Prevete guilty of murder.
