A scout leader, an ex-police officer, a foster carer and a social service manager are among the 59 people arrested in Wales.
The six month long operation targeted people accessing indecent images of children online.
It has to date seen 660 arrests with more than 400 children across the UK safeguarded.
The arrests by Welsh police forces are as follows:
- Dyfed Powys Police - 7 arrests and 5 children protected
- Gwent Police - 14 arrests and 14 children protected
- South Wales Police - 30 arrests and 23 children protected
- North Wales Police - 8 arrests
