Cannabis worth £250,000 found in Cardiff raids

Police have carried out raids across Cardiff and found 50 kilos of cannabis with an estimated street value of £250,000 and £120,000 in cash.

Warrants were used at addresses in the Fairwater, Canton, Llanishen, Llanedeyrn and Rumney areas.

Six men were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A and class B drugs and money laundering.

They include a 52 year-old man from Fairwater, a 25 year-old man from Llanishen, two men aged 52 and 62 from Canton, a 62 year-old man from Rumney and 45 year-old man from Llanedeyrn.
