Unexploded bomb found near Bridgend

An unexploded World War II bomb has been found on the Kenfig Nature Reserve near Bridgend.

Local men Dean Smith and James Clark were walking back to their car this morning after a spot of metal detecting, when they came across the find.

A police cordon is now in place around the area and the bomb squad are on their way to make the device safe.
