New Swansea City striker Modou Barrow scored his first goal for Swansea City's Under 21 side just hours after completing his transfer deadline move from Swedish side Ostersunds FK.

The 21 year-old Gambian received international clearance in time to net his first goal for his new club during a 3-2 victory over Birmingham City.

Barrow had been in Swansea for some time before finally putting pen to paper on a performance related contract for an undisclosed fee.

Swansea City's development boss Chris Llewellyn told the club website:

"I'm pleased for him (Modou), It was touch and go whether he would play as we didn't receive the international clearance until late afternoon, but he did okay and scored his goal.
