Appeal after attempted robbery on corner shop

North Wales Police is appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery on a shop in Holyhead.

Officers say the attempted robbery took place at Mill Bank Stores, Mill Bank at about 5pm on Wednesday 24th February.

A white male, aged in his 20’s entered the store and demanded the till be opened.

The alarm was quickly raised and the man fled empty handed in the direction of Vulcan Street.

Fortunately no one was injured during this incident. I’d like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw any suspicious activity or knows anything about this crime to contact police immediately
