The Duchess of Cambridge has visited a children's mental health project in Torfaen during her first engagement as patron of Action for Children.

Her Royal Highness met children at child and adolescent mental health project MIST near Pontypool, which works with young people and their carers or family to address complex mental health needs.

This is her first visit to Wales since succeeding the Queen as patron for the charity Action for Children.
