A cat has been rescued in the Neath area – after becoming wedged between a wall and a wooden fence.
The black cat had got stuck in a gap only 2.5 inches in width, and was unable to move free. The trapped moggy had been spotted by a member of the public in the Skewen area of the town.
RSPCA Cymru attended, and worked with the caller to release the cat - with the wooden fence pushed back, and the cat brought back to safety by RSPCA animal welfare officer Paula Milton. The cat was safe with no injuries, so was immediately released.
