After being overtaken by what appeared to be a speeding motorist, PC's Darren Trevan and John Woodcock jumped to action.

On speaking to the occupants of the vehicle, and quickly realising that one of them was heavily pregnant, PC Woodcock drove the couple's car to hospital while PC Trevan provided the the escort.

They made it to Glangwili General Hospital just in time for the birth of a baby boy.
