Police appeal after elderly man dies following collision

North Wales Police is appealing for witnesses after a 92-year-old pedestrian died following a collision with a car in Holyhead.

It happened on the junction of Wian Street and London Road on Saturday 3 June at approximately 12.25pm.

The 92-year-old was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor by ambulance, and was transferred to Stoke due to his life threatening injuries, where he has since passed away.

Police say the car involved was a black Vauxhall Insignia car and the driver was uninjured.
