Police are appealing for help to find a "vulnerable" 17-year-old from Wrexham.

Farhana Begum was last seen by her family at approximately 8:30am on Friday 23 June, when she left home to go to college.

We are becoming increasingly concerned for Farhana’s welfare and are appealing for the public’s help to find her.

Farhana is described as being between 5’ 1” and 5’ 3” tall, of medium build with very long black hair.

She was last seen wearing a green-coloured jacket and black leggings.

She was carrying a large dark holdall bag.

Farhana is vulnerable and her disappearance is completely out of character.

We are in contact with colleagues in other forces as she may have travelled to either the Manchester, Bradford and Birmingham areas.

Anybody who may know of her whereabouts, or anybody who may have seen her is asked to contact us immediately. Equally we are appealing direct to Farhana for to make contact with either ourselves or her family to let us know that she is safe and well.
