Four men in their twenties have been charged with firearms offences in North Wales after the the fatal shooting of a teenager earlier this year.

Peter Robert Colwell's body was found in the car park of the Ship Inn in Llanbedrog, near Pwllheli, on February 5th.

The men - who are all from the local area - will appear before magistrates on 31st August.

There was insufficient evidence to proceed with any other charges and Peter’s family, who continue to be supported by police family liaison officers, have been informed of this latest development.

Our thoughts remain with them. As the matter is now before the court it would be inappropriate to add anything further at this time.
