Di Canio rolls back the years to hit a hat-trick
by Tim Walsh
Swindon Town fans were out in force last night to see their manager take part in a charity football match at the County Ground.
Paolo Di Canio put his boots on for the first time in four years to raise money for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
And the fans weren't disappointed. Di Canio rolled back the years to hit a superb hat-trick as his team beat an Air Ambulance XI, managed by former Town boss Lou Macari, by eight goals to two.
Former Swindon players included Chris Kamara, Paul Bodin, Christian Roberts, Lee Peacock, Fraser Digby and Micky Hazard.
They were joined by ex-footballers Julian Dicks and Darren Anderton, and television presenters Ben Shephard and Max Rushden.
