Representatives from Bristol have travelled to Brussels today (Thurs) to make their pitch to become European Green Capital 2014. They say the accolade could bring new jobs and investment to the city.
Steven Hilton from Bristol City Council says "In the current economic climate, I think it would distinguish Bristol from all of the other cities in Europe and it would give us a real focus to be able to attract new business and new jobs in to the city."
