Sunday's West Country Olympic preview

Exeter swimmer Liam Tancock launches his bid for Olympic gold at the Aquatics Centre in the Olympic Park this morning.Tancock swims in the heats of the 100m backstroke (11am), hoping to reach tonight's semi-finals (8.25pm).

Siobhan-Marie O'Connor is also in action this morning, with the Bath teenager in the heats of the 100m breaststroke (10.40am).

The GB eventing team complete the dressage stage of the competition today (10am), with Gloucestershire's Zara Phillips and Dorset's Williams Fox-Pitt scheduled to ride.

At Eton Dorney, reigning Olympic rowing champion Zac Purchase starts the defence of his title in the men's lightweight double sculls.Again paired with Mark Hunter, the Tewkesbury sculler is looking to bounce back from a disappointing season so far.
