The biggest stage musical ever to tour Britain hits Bristol tonight.
It’s graced Broadway and the West End and now for 11weeks, The Lion King will tread the boards of The Bristol Hippodrome.
They’ve been rehearsing inthe city for almost eight weeks. Some 27,000 man-hours have been spent creating the set, and 700 costumes have been handcrafted.
It's a huge operation. To allow the animalprocession during the famous ‘Circle of Life’, the seats inthe theatre have been moved for the first time in its history.
