Describing her as a 'loving' woman 'full of character', the family of Catherine Wells-Burr, who was found dead in a burning car, have today paid tribute to her. A murder inquiry has been launched after the body of the 23-year-old was discovered in her car in Ashill near Ilminster on Wednesday morning.

We have lost our beautiful Catherine; she was full of character, she was caring, loving, and had a bubbly personality. She had a wonderful sense of humour, and was an amazing, special person. Catherine had achieved so much in her short life and had worked so hard to gain her Bachelor of Honours in Business Management, gaining a 1st class degree from Bath Spa University. She was so happy starting her life with Rafal and excited about their future together.
A Facebook page set up in memory of the Bath Spa graduate has been flooded with tributes from those close to Catherine, as well as many others who simply wanted to pay their respects. More than four thousand people have joined the group.
Floral tributes are growing each hour at the scene as people in the local community pass on their well-wishes to the family. Police were quick to describe the incident as 'brutal' and 'tragic'.
Today, as police renewed their appeal for information, the family issued a desperate plea for anybody with information to come forward.

We have found this hard to understand why someone would have done this to her. There are no words to express how we feel about what has happened to her early on Wednesday morning. We desperately need to know why?
The young woman was popular with many and today the company which she worked for remembered her fondly.

Catherine was a valued employee who worked with us in manufacturing during her university holidays and after graduation as a full time employee. She moved to our IS department last year to further her career as Business Analyst. We are all shocked and saddened by this tragedy and our thoughts are with Catherine's family and all those affected.
A 32 year old woman was arrested last night on suspicion of murder and currently remains in police custody. Two men arrested have been eliminated from the enquiry.
