A 32-year-old woman appeared in court today charged with conspiracy to murder Catherine Wells-Burr.
Anna Lagwinowicz faced magistrates in Bristol following the death of Miss Wells-Burr, whose body was found inside her burning car near Ilminster, Somerset last week.
The Polish national is charged with conspiring together with other persons to murder Miss Wells-Burr between May 1st and September 13th.
The defendant, who is the ex-partner of Miss Wells-Burr's boyfriend, spoke only to confirm her name, age and address during a brief hearing.
No application for bail was made and reporting restrictions were not lifted.
Anna Lagwinowicz, from South Street, Taunton, Somerset, was remanded in custody to appear before Bristol Crown Court on October 9.
This evening (Tuesday), Catherine Wells-Burr's boyfriend was also charged with conspiracy to murder her.
Rafal Nowak, 31, will appear before magistrates in Bristol tomorrow, Avon and Somerset Police said.
