A local charity that focuses on tackling racism is up for a national award tonight.
SARI - which stands for Support Against Racist Incidents - has been helping people in and around Bristol and Somerset for 21 years. A lot of the cases they help involve people who've suffered life-changing situations triggered by race hate.
A young woman who was helped by SARI has spoken to The West Country Tonight about the racist abuse she and her young family faced when they first moved to Bristol.
Tanya Mercer went to meet her - we've disguised her voice to protect her identity.
