Umbrella company for football and rugby club
Bristol City FC is to be united under a single company with Bristol Rugby.
Stephen Lansdown, the majority shareholder in the football club and the owner of the rugby club, said there was already 'great synergy' between both.
The new company, Bristol Sport Ltd, will be chaired by Martin Griffiths. He will be helped by directors Keith Dawe (currently Bristol City chairman) and Jon Lansdown (managing director).
They will concentrate of the football side of the business.
Chris Booy, currently Bristol Rugby chairman, will do the same for the rugby side.
