Cheltenham Town's promotion hopes were dented after a 2-0 defeat at improving Plymouth Argyle.

The Pilgrims have won 4 out of the 5 games as they look to move away from the League Two relegation zone.

Reuben Reid gave Argyle the lead five minutes before half-time when he was first to the rebound after on-loan Bristol City winger Joe Bryan hit the post.

Plymouth doubled their lead when Onismor Bhasera's driven cross took a deflection off Town's Michael Hector and flew into the net.

Cheltenham stay fourth, level on points with Northampton who occupy the final automatic promotion place. The Cobblers also lost today.
