Yeovil Town grabbed a valuable point against fellow strugglers Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough, despite playing the entire second half with 10 men.

Wednesday led through Atdhe Nuhiu's controversial 24th-minute strike. Referee Eltringham allowed the goal to stand, despite the assistant referee flagging for offside and protests from the Yeovil Town players

The visitors then had Byron Webster sent off four minutes before the break after a tussle with goalscorer Nuhiu.

But the Glovers still came back to equalise in the 64th minute through Joe Ralls' left-footed volley from inside the area.

Bristol City are still looking for their first league win of the season after suffering a heavy 3-0 home defeat to Peterborough.

Tyrone Barnett put Posh ahead in the 24th minute after goalkeeper Frank Fielding could only parry Craig Alcock's shot.

Fielding made amends for his error by saving Lee Tomlin's penalty three minutes later, awarded for James O'Connor's trip on Britt Assombalonga.

Assombalonga scored two stunning strikes in the second half, leaving City in the League One relegation zone.

Swindon Town were beaten by Wolves in a five-goal thriller at Molineux.

The home side took the lead in the third minute when former Bristol City youngster Scott Golbourne's cross crept in off a post.

Kevin Doyle headed in Lee Griffiths' cross just before half-time to double the advantage.

Swindon pulled a goal back nine minutes from time when sub Dany N'Guessan fired in.

Wolves sub Kevin Foley then restored the two-goal cushion in the last minute, before Ryan Mason hit a 30-yard screamer in stoppage time.

Cheltenham Town were pegged back twice by Oxford at Whaddon Road.

Byron Harrison gave the Robins an 8th minute lead - tapping in from close range after former Bristol Rovers goalkeeper Ryan Clarke could only parry Terry Gornell's shot.

Dave Kitson equalised for Oxford ten minutes before half-time following an error by Steve Elliott.

Mark Yates' men regained the lead early in the second half through Gornell, but they couldn't hold on as Johnny Mullins rescued a point six minutes later.

Bristol Rovers suffered their second straight league defeat after a disappointing performance at Dagenham & Redbridge.

Abu Ogogo gave the hosts a tenth minute lead, and the goalscorer almost allowed Rovers back into the game in the second half. He handled Michael Smith's cross in the box, but Matt Harrold’s spot kick was saved by goalkeeper Chris Lewington.

Poor marking at a corner allowed Luke Howell to confirm the win in the 72nd minute.
