Too many children from poorer backgrounds are not doing well enough at school, despite an improvement in education standards in our region, that's according to a new report.

Independent inspectors found more children in the South West are being taught in a good or outstanding school than 12 months ago.

Bradley Simmons from Ofsted says "this report gives teachers something to celebrate"

But the very low attainment of some children is, Ofsted says, "a real concern."
