Soldiers at the Imjin barracks at Innsworth in Gloucestershire attempted to break a world record attempt - for dipping and eating more than 170 toasted soldiers in egg and eating them.

The challenge was in aid of children's bereavement charity 'Winston's Wish'.

Guinness are yet to verify the attempt but the charity have already said they are delighted with the outcome.
