Bristol Rugby's hopes of restoring their place in the Premiership will be tested to the full in the next few months.
Andy Robinson's side start what is effectively the second half of the season with a home game against Plymouth Albion this Sunday. Currently they are in fourth place in the Championship table and need to maintain or improve on that position if they are to make the end of season play offs.
Earlier in the season Plymouth gave Bristol a scare at Brickfields by racing into an early lead but the visitors recovered to record a 38-31 victory.
Even before their promotion chances are known, Bristol are continuing their recruitment programme with the aim of strengthening the squad for the challenges ahead this season ad next. but Andy Robinson says he won't be squandering owner Steve Lansdown's money.
