Sharples drops out of England squad
Gloucester winger Charlie Sharples has been left out of the 22 man squad to face Ireland in the final round of the RBS 6 Nations this weekend. David Strettle returns after recovering from a sternum injury. It's the only change to the starting line-up that beat France 22-24 last weekend.
Gloucester Rugby sign Tongan flanker
Gloucester have signed Tongan flanker Sione Kalamafoni from Nottingham for next season.
The 23-year-old started three of his country's matches at the 2011 World Cup. Read the full statement on the club website. Prop, Nick Wood has been ruled out for the remainder of the season following surgery.

Football: Disappointing result for Yeovil Town
There was a disappointing end to Yeovil Town's League One match last night.
The Glovers conceded a 94th minute equaliser at home to Scunthorpe drawing two-all draw at Huish Park. The result leaves them 13th in the table. They're at home to strugglers Walsall this weekend.

Plymouth-based entrepreneur Chris Dawson has gone into a joint deal with Yeovil Town Football Club to support a multi-million pound club improvement project. The club plan to make significant improvements to the current facilities which will include new stands.
Yeovil Town pushes ahead with redevelopment plans
Yeovil town football club has announced it's pushing ahead with redevelopment plans which could create more than a hundred and fifty jobs.
The club has signed a deal with West Country business man Chris Dawson to create a supermarket on land at Huish Park. If the deal gets the go ahead it could make millions of pounds for the club but it still needs planning permission.
University to host Chinese swimmers
25 top swimmers from China will be based at the University of Bath ahead of this summer's London Olympics. They'll train alongside the Bath-based members of the British team in July.

In the Championship, Bristol City managed a much needed win tonight, keeping them - for now at least - safe from relegation. Jon Stead secured victory with a goal in the 79th minute, bringing the score to 3-2 to City against Leicester.
In League One, Yeovil won too thanks to a goal by Gavin Williams. Dean Parrott was given a red card just before half time. MK Dons 0:1 Yeovil Town
But League Two saw away losses for both Cheltenham and Bristol Rovers. It ended Morecambe 3:1 Cheltenham and Northampton Town 3:2 Bristol Rovers.
Better news for Swindon though, who are now six points clear at the top of the table with a 4-0 victory at home against Dagenham and Redbridge.
